I have a friend on California who is looking for someone to build a 440 mopar for him. He has a custom shop that does the Chopped tops, Hot Rods, Resto stuff etc. His dad was a very good friend of mine and passed away this year. The son Nick is running the shop and called me to see if I knew anyone I would recommend to do the job. they're restoring an old Chrysler and want a nice street engine (looking to have a hydraulic cam was the only 'requirement'> ) I know you guys are in the loop, so if you know of anyone, or want to take the job, get in touch with me and I'll get you hooked up. He's willing to have someone out of state do the build so it's not carved in stone.

I know a guy who lives in the south left but I wouldn’t trust him to lube the chain on my bicycle

I'm sure my machinist could handle it no prob. I would trust him better than myself. I'd be happy to pass on his contact info. But I'm east of frisco.

My only suggestion is Valley Head Service.

Valley Head Service
19340 Londelius St
Northridge, CA 91324

(818) 993-7010

Larry Ofria owns it. They've unbroke my crap a few times (heads mainly). Good work. Not cheap, but i've never once had an issue with their work.

Good - Fast - Cheap

Pick two.
