I can tell you that I have had a rotary lift in my shop, (old sub floor hoist) that was installed before I was born. It has been rock solid since day 1. I grew up servicing vehicles on that lift. That's over 44 years old. Still works like NEW. I have used a couple friends Rotary 2 post lifts and I think they are worth every penny, Matter of Fact I want one, REAL BAD.... meanwhile I have a buddy who bought a BendPak and I have to say for the savings he made, that there's definetly a deal to be had for a "hobby shop" but at the same time I see these BendPak lifts being installed in full time professional shops. So I'd be hard pressed to spend the extra couple thou on a Rotary.... And Im sure theres lots more of good brands out there.
