All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. So we know that Racing isn't a "HOBBY" with anyone here. So in your "off time" what do you do to unwind? Fish, Ride Motorcycles, Bowling, Paint? Let's hear about your favorite thing to do when you don't have to do anything else.

Wood turning

Wood turning is relaxing and a good way of using up some of the old race parts. Here are some of the interesting things I've made.

I"ve always been fascinated by woodworkign. I saw and magazine some years ago about fine woodworking. There were photos of a fellow who built a fantastic tool chest for his woodworking tools... Good grief! It was nice enough to live in!.

I always wanted to buy a Gerstener Machinist's box. My first Foreman had one of Black Cherry Wood that was absolutely gorgeous. Never did get one, but I have some nice Kennedy boxes. Maybe one of these days, I'll treat myself to a Gerstener.

But being able to work with wood is a real talent. Your stuff looks very nice and clever too. Love that Airplane! I make Cannons out of brass... We all think alike LOL!

Merry Christmas!~
