Kansas Ed

Postby danielb210 » Sun Apr 26, 2015 5:02 pm

I am heart broken to have to say that my friend, former Hooligan, and the person who brought me here KansasEd has passed away. He was a giant of a man with a heart of gold.

How Sad. I really liked Ed. He was a terrific fellow, a good friend and a smart man. I know he was so proud of his son too. I believe that he had some medical problems towards the end of his tenure here as a member (although he will always be a hooligan.). His wife Audrey was a woman apart. She had skills and talent beyond that of most men. They were a heck of a team. Please send our condolences to the family. Ed will surely be missed.

About a year ago he had an aortic anurism and miraculously survived against all odds. He went in for a follow up surgery and died on the table. I'd like to think the good Lord was giving him time to say his proper good byes. You never know when your friends will be gone.

He was one of the many fine thinkers that we've seen here over the years.

Sorry to hear he has passed . I purchased the front Centerline rims off of his FED a few years ago and still have them .
Great guy to deal with .
